(Documentary)

This documentary was made for Hiba Elhindi - a British Sudanese artist based in Bristol. SuFIA (Sudanese Folk-Inspired Arts) was an ongoing community arts project where children and parents created work across a wide range of creative practices including podcasting, storytelling, theatre, puppetry and music.

Mugenkyo: In Time

Legendary Taiko drummers Mugenkyo embarked on a special anniversary tour in 2025 to mark their 30th year anniversary. This tour trailer was created for them to use on their socials. A thrilling live performance of dark and light. You can watch the trailer on Facebook here.

Nouggara

(Event Documentary)

Nouggara was a unique cultural event showcasing the musical traditions of Sudan through an exhibition of handcrafted Sudanese instruments. It showcased the countries rich cultural legacy and provided a platform to celebrate and preserve its traditional art forms amidst the ongoing challenges facing the country. This film acted as part event trailer/part documentary. Held at ACTA theatre, Bristol in 2024.

Sudafest: Hope and Healing

(Event Documentary)

Long time collaborator artist Hiba Elhindi hosts an annual Sudanese festival called Sudafest. It celebrates the countries heritage bringing together the Sudanese diaspora and introducing all to Sudan’s amazing culture and arts. This event documentary was made for the 2023 edition of the festival “Hope and Healing” - an essential coming together as the country faces incredible hardship and war.

Lost and Grounded Brewers

(Short Film)

This film was made as an introduction to renowned Bristol brewers Lost and Grounded. It was commissioned to be screened at Riverside Studios London where they sponsored Bitesize Short Film festival, 2025. Also made for use on their website. I filmed inside the brewery capturing the brewing process, in their on site tap room, at the Green Man pub and recorded voice over with co-founder Alex for this one. You can watch the film here.

“Tumble” - Polvito

(Music Video)

Official music video for my music project ‘Polvito’. The song was based on real life events. Filmed on an airstrip in the Somerset Levels with a classic black car ominously driving around this isolated landscape. Made in collaboration with incredible hand drawn animator Paulo Russo and DOP Adam Stocker.

Mighty Milk

A narrative short Mighty Milk was my first film made back in 2013 one snowy January. It centers around a courier who works for a shady underground group and a new liquid substance. If you want to see where my film career began you can start here! Mighty Milk went on to be selected for The London Short Film Festival and be nominated for a ShortsTV award for Best Thriller.
